Chamal warns Mervyn Silva

Speaker Chamal Rajapakse today warned Deputy Highways Minister Mervyn Silva that he will be sent out of the chamber if he continues to behave in an unruly manner inside the parliament premises.

Minister Silva had attempted to angrily answer a question raised by DNA MP Sunil Handunnetti regarding the “Api Wenuwen Api” funds in parliament today and had to remain quiet after the Speaker's stern warning.
