Cops interdicted for partying

Three police constables who were on duty at a musical show at the Monaragala Pradeshiya Sabha grounds have been interdicted for changing into civil attire and partying during the event.

They were interdicted by the SSP Monaragala with immediate effect after senior officers who visited the festival ground on an inspection arrested the two constables for neglecting their duty and allegedly being under the influence of liquor.
