CID records Kshenuka’s statement on Gen. Fonseka’s case

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) informed the Colombo Fort Chief Magistrate today that a statement has been recorded from Sri Lanka's Permanent Representative to United Nations in Geneva Kshenuka Seneviratne regarding the UN’s clarification on the comments made by Gen.(retd.) Sarath Fonseka that LTTE cadres surrendering should not be spared.

 

 

 

Gen. Fonseka was produced before the Colombo Fort Chief Magistrate Champa Janaki Jayaratne today. 

 

CID filed action against Gen. Fonseka over comments made to the Sunday Leader news paper over the issue. 

 

The case is due to be called on June 7.
