Cricket after first full day in Parliament for some MPs
Some of the young first time entrants to Parliament seem to believe in the adage “ all work and no play makes one a dull boy” and hence after House sittings adjourned this evening , they enjoyed a game of cricket at the grounds of the Parliament complex at Kotte.
Among those who enjoyed the game were the President’s son MP Namal Rajapaksa as well as Colombo district UPFA MP Duminda Silva and MP Uditha Lokubandara – the son of former Speaker W.J.M.Lokubandara .
The MPs had changed from their formal wear to tee shirts and trousers for some recreation after their first full day at the Legislature.
